The Houston Rockets fell 93-83 to the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday night, but rookie slasher Chandler Parsons continues to conjure positive sparks with his consistent trips above the rim.

This particular alley-oop, the product of a Kyle Lowry steal, slightly eased the pain of mediocrity for Rockets fans as Houston slid to a ho-hum 3-3 on its recent six-game road trip.

Perhaps the biggest story gleaned from Tuesday’s game is the crowd support, or lack thereof, in Memphis. See for yourself in the video. Dull, empty grey seats outnumber the occupied chairs at the FedEx Forum. It’s not as if the Grizzlies are a bad team either; after a run to the post-season’s second round in 2011, they sit a mere half-game out of a playoff spot in 2012. The team deserves better, and it is difficult to build a consistently winning organization with such lackluster fan enthusiasm.
