Orlando Magic, Golden State Warriors In Trade Talks Fixated On Monta Ellis
There has been many rumors around the NBA world lately about whether Monta Ellis is going to get traded and to where, but they have all been rumors. Well now there is a confirmed report via sources of RealGM.com, “The Magic and Warriors are in trade talks involving Monta Ellis, sources confirmed to RealGM. No trade is imminent, but talks are ongoing say sources.”
In recent weeks the Warriors have really likened to the idea of moving Ellis and are said to now be willing to actually deal him if the right deal comes along. Still it would seem that it would take a lot to pry Ellis from Golden State as everyone their really likes and if the Warriors could move Curry they would rather do that as they view Ellis as the better player of the two.
The Magic have been very active in trade talks lately as they are looking for a legit scoring threat to pair with Howard in hopes that it will entice him to stay past this season. The framework of the deal, like who is involved and who would be going where, has not been released yet.
