The Miami Heat have cancelled their Friday practice after falling down 2-1 to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Teams are not required to meet with media when they do not hold practice.

Dwyane Wade is coming off his worst playoff game ever; he scored as many points(5) as turnovers, shot 2-13 from the field, and had 0 assists. He has been battling lower leg issues, and not getting his normal lift on his jump-shot. He is also having trouble getting back on defense and making his defensive rotations quickly. “It’s obvious he wasn’t himself,” LeBron James said after Game 3. “Does he want to play better? Of course. He’s one of the best players in the world.”

He also had a very visible and angry sideline confrontation with Erik Spoelstra, was sitting outside of the Miami Heat huddle near the end of the game, and would not discuss it after the game.

“That was during a very emotional part of the game, we were getting our butt kicked,” Spoelstra said. “Those exchanges happen all the time during the course of an NBA season.”

The Heat next play on Sunday in Indianapolis, and to say that this next game is a must-win is understating it a bit. The Heat are also playing without their star Power Forward Chris Bosh, who went down in Game 1 with an abdominal strain, and will be out indefinitely. They need to seize back home-field advantage, and more importantly, momentum, in order to have a chance of winning this series.
