Matt Forte slipped to the 2nd and 3rd rounds in a lot of drafts. I’m not 100% sure why because Matt Forte is one of the few dual threats in fantasy football. Well, those that took Forte got themselves a real first week treat. Forte accumulated 150 plus yards and a score against a pretty decent defense in the Atlanta Falcons.

What impressed me the most about Forte was his ability to juke move. A lot of people (myslef included) looked at Forte as a more power back and lacked the agility to make people miss. Well- Forte made several people miss today and that’s a real good sign that Matt Forte is getting better and better. What makes Forte so important to a fantasy team is that on days the Bears can’t get the running game going, he’s going to catch passes to make up for the lack of rushing yards. On days where everything is clicking- Matt Forte is going to be absolutely huge to those owners whom were smart enough to draft him.
