Week 4 Fantasy Football: Start QB Andy Dalton

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

The fourth week of the fantasy football season is about to kickoff and there are plenty of options out there to plug in this week for quarterbacks with bye weeks.

One quarterback to take a shot on this week in all formats is Andy Dalton of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Dalton will face off against the Cleveland Browns and the Red Riffle has owned the Brownies in recent years. In his first game against Cleveland last season, Dalton threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns against his divisional rival. In the second game, he threw another three touchdowns and a career-high 381 yards. He may have been picked off four times in those two games, but his yardage and touchdown totals were well worth the start.

Also the team’s running game has been rather productive in recent weeks. BenJarvus Green-Ellis has scored two touchdowns this year and added 11 first downs, while rookie sensation Giovani Bernard has also scored two touchdowns of his own.  The emergence of the running game will only give Dalton more room to work downfield this week, as Cincinnati is finally starting to get opposing defenses to respect their two-headed rushing attack.

Dalton will likely have a couple interceptions in the game, but look for him to easily go over the 300-yard mark and add two touchdowns. If you have him in your lineup, make sure to give him the nod in Week 4.
