Week 16 Fantasy Football Injury Report

The fantasy football playoffs have finally arrived and there are a slew of injuries this week to get caught up. So before setting your final lineup, here is the complete Week 16 fantasy football injury report.

Guys That Will Play:

QB Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens – Flacco will play today despite a nagging knee injury.

QB Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals – Palmer will be the starter today despite a lingering ankle injury.

QB Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers – Newton (toe) will start the game under center today for Carolina.

RB Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings – Peterson will play today after missing last week’s game with a foot injury.

RB Toby Gerhart, Minnesota Vikings – Gerhart (hamstring) will be active today for Minnesota.

RB Reggie Bush, Detroit Lions – Bush (calf) has not shown up on the injury report for today’s game and will be active.

RB Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers – Mathews (foot) will be in the starting lineup today.

RB Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders – McFadden will return to action this week after missing weeks with an ankle injury.

RB Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks – Lynch will be active today after missing practice this week to get some well-deserved rest.

RB Maurice Jones-Dew, Jacksonville Jaguars – MJD (hamstring) will be active for today’s game.

WR Andre Johnson, Houston Texans – Johnson has been limited with a wrist injury this week in practice, but he will still be active for the fantasy finals.

WR T.Y. HIlton, Indianapolis Colts – Hilton will play today with his nagging shoulder injury.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals – Fitzgerald (concussion) will be active for today’s game.

WR Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears – Marshall (quad) will be on the outside today and the wideout is a must-start in every format.

WR Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers – Smith will play today despite injuring his finger in practice earlier this week.

TE Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers – Olsen (foot) will be active for today’s game.

 

Guys That Will Not Play:

QB Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers – Rodgers will miss his seventh straight game with a collarbone injury.

QB E.J. Manuel, Buffalo Bills – Manuel has already been ruled out with a knee injury.

WR Wes Welker, Denver Broncos – Welker will miss another game with concussion symptoms.

WR Victor Cruz, New York Giants – Cruz has been shutdown for the year following season-ending knee surgery.

WR Steve Johnson, Buffalo Bills – Johnson will miss today’s game, while he is grieving over the death of his mother.

WR Tavon Austin, St. Louis Rams - Austin will not play today, as he is still nursing an ankle injury.

WR Josh Boyce, New England Patriots - Boyce will miss today’s game with an ankle injury.

TE Jordan Cameron, Cleveland Browns – Cameron will not play today as he is still suffering from lingering concussion symptoms.

Game-Time Decision: 

RB Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens – Rice has still not been cleared with a thigh injury, but it is likely he will play.

WR Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions - Johnson (knee) is still a game-time call for today.
