Fantasy Baseball 2014: Top 20 Outfielders After Two Weeks of Play

Trumbo is on a new team and is still trying to find his way in some areas of his game. Like the Diamondbacks, Trumbo is struggling a bit to start the season, but he is on this list primarily for his production and power numbers.

It was a very welcoming sight to many Brewers fans to see Ryan Braun back on the field -- although the rest of baseball wasn't too pleased. It has been an up-and-down start for the outfielder, but he is definitely on his way back to the top.

Bryce Harper beefed up a bit in the offseason and, to no one's surprise, steroid questions started to pop up from everywhere. However, the young slugger is doing his best to ignore the doubters and contribute to a World Series-favorite Washington squad.

Jacoby Ellsbury was signed to a monster contract by the Yankees this offseason who had a ton of money to spend after Robinson Cano split for Seattle. Many were skeptical of the big cash deal, but Ellsbury has played very well thus far.

Michael Morse isn't exactly a big name in baseball today, but with the way he's playing right now, it won't be too long before people start taking notice of the 32-year-old outfielder.

Fantasy owners jumped at the opportunity to draft Carlos Gonzalez early in their respective drafts -- and they made a good choice. It's hard to follow up on the 2013 season that Gonzalez had, but he's having a heck of a start to the 2014 season.

Carlos Gomez might be one of the more fiery players in baseball, but it's easy to be confident when you can produce. The Milwaukee Brewers are off to a hot start in 2014 and Gomez is a big reason as to why.

Mike Trout was picked either No. 1 or No. 2 overall in most, if not all, fantasy leagues and those owners can't be too upset about the start he's had. While the Angels have had their fair share of struggled thus far, Trout has been nearly perfect.

Josh Hamilton is one of the most scrutinized players in MLB. It has been a rough time in Los Angeles for the star, but he is looking to put his poor 2013 season behind him and have a much better 2014. Well, an injury that will keep him out until mid-to-late May won't help, but he was on fire before that.

Emilio Bonifacio could be one of the biggest surprises of the 2014 season in MLB. No one was talking about the 28-year-old Dominican outfielder before the season, but now, it's hard to stop talking about him.

2014 Stats: .392 AVG, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 9 Runs, 7 SB

Angel Pagan is coming off an injury-plagued season in 2013 and the 32-year-old outfielder is looking to get the Giants back to the World Series. Pagan won't produce much power, but he can get on base and even steal some bases in the right situation.

2014 Stats: .386 AVG, 1 HR, 10 RBI, 8 Runs, 2 SB

Michael Cuddyer seems to be getting better with age. Don't shy away from the veteran outfielder if he is, somehow, available in your league. In the case that he's not available, a trade for Cuddyer would do nothing but help your fantasy team, offensively.

Justin Upton had a monster second week on the season, hitting .500 in week two to go along with four home runs. If Upton can somehow keep it up, he will be a force in every fantasy league.

Charlie Blackmon, 27, has been yet another surprise for MLB this season. He has yet to play a full season in his big league career, but 2014 looks to be his "welcome to the big leagues" season.

If you're a lucky fantasy owner, like myself, and you have Giancarlo Stanton, you are probably jumping for joy right now. This guy has been better than anyone in the league this season on offense -- or so it seems -- and the fact that he's just 24 years old is just scary.
