With each passing week of the fantasy baseball season, more and more players come off the disabled list. Unfortunately, some players tend to fall through the cracks upon their return. It is impossible to be updated on every injury and it is simply a part of the game.

One of these players that has been somewhat forgotten in his return is Cincinnati Reds C Devin Mesoraco. Mesoraco just returned from a 15-day disabled list due to an oblique injury, which was already the second time the catcher has been on the DL this year.

However, before the catcher was placed on the shelf, he was absolutely punishing the ball. Mesoraco had a remarkable .468 batting average and surprisingly hit three home runs through his first five games of the 2014 season.

In his first game back, Mesoracohas picked up right where he left off. The catcher slugged a three-run homer in first first game back and quickly made fantasy fans remember of his pre-DL performance.

In his second game back versus the Philadelphia Phillies, Meso offered more of the same. The backstop finished the game 4-for-4 with two doubles and another RBI. He has now added 17 RBIs through 16 games and has been one of the most impressive fantasy catchers.

Mesoraco has established himself as a legitimate fantasy option in every format. If he is still sitting on the wire in your 10-man league, it is about time someone picked up the catcher that has a batting average over .450.
