The outfield position is by far the deepest spot in all of fantasy. However, not all options see everyday at-bats. To help you identify which players to add this week, here are five of the best free agent outfielders to add off the waiver wire.

5. Juan Lagares, New York Mets

Lagares is one of the only constants in New York's outfield. He will be in the lineup everyday as long as he is healthy and the 25-year-old is a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster offense. Lagares has proved that he can hit for average (.290 AVG) and will have value as an OF3 the rest of the way.

4. Kole Calhoun, Los Angeles Angels

After months of disappointing numbers, Calhoun has finally started to live up to his sleeper potential. He has inherited the leadoff role in LA and has shined since taking over the top spot. He has quietly homered in two of the late three games and currently has an outstanding .840 OPS. Calhoun is worth adding off the wire for anyone needing a steady source of at-bats with a mix of power.

Ownership: 53.1 % (ESPN)

3. Oscar Taveras, St. Louis Cardinals

Taveras has struggled to transition into the majors this season, as the youngster has a meager .175 batting average. However, the outfielder has hit over .300 in the minors in five straight years and it is only a matter of time until he comes around. Fantasy fans should add Oscar as soon as possible before he officially wakes up.

Ownership: 13.8 % (ESPN)

2. Lorenzo Cain, Kansas City Royals

Cain continues to make play after play in centerfield. Shockingly, though, the speedster has a gaudy .309 batting average and an impressive .776 OPS. Cain has finally matured into a reliable OF3 and will be a great pickup at this point in the season.

Ownership: 32.4% (ESPN)

1. Steve Pearce, Baltimore Orioles

Pearce has quietly emerged as another thunderous bat in Baltimore's lineup. The veteran has smacked seven home runs in his last 15 games alone to go along with 15 RBIs. Pearce is worth a look in all formats and will be an instant power source to plug in this week.

Ownership: 59.5% (ESPN)
