Eenie meenie miney mo, catch a tiger by the toe. Who knew that top NFL fantasy football wideout A.J. Green would be a prophetic victim of this anti-Cincinnati Bengals nursery rhyme?

With only 17 catches on the season due to being sidelined by a big toe injury, Green has a been a nightmare draft selection for his fantasy owners. With the fantasy season already half over, Green still has 99 percent ownership in most fantasy leagues, but when will he actually get a chance to play and put up the big numbers that his fantasy owners are used to seeing?

Week 9 seems to be the week since Green has completed three consecutive days of practice this week which is a great sign that he’ll get the green light (corny pun intended) to suit up against the horrific Jacksonville Jaguars.

The one-win Jaguars are the perfect confidence booster for an elite receiver on the comeback trail, and Green’s presence on the field will also help out Andy Dalton, who has struggled to hold down the fort without his No. 1 WR. With running back Giovani Bernard ruled out of Sunday’s contest against Jacksonville with a hip pointer injury, expect the Bengals to look to their passing game to guide them to victory.

At this point in the season, the Bengals aren’t going to risk Green’s health by putting him out on the field as a decoy, so his presence on the field will mean that he’s good to go. If you have Green on your fantasy team, start him in Week 9 as a WR2 or at the flex spot without hesitation. Your tiger is officially back on the prowl.
