Mark Sanchez truly knows what it takes to bounce back and prove his critics wrong. Sometimes a completely new team, players and overall offensive system can do wonders for a career. Sanchez is thriving with the Philadelphia Eagles, and it’s like their offense didn’t miss a beat once it was revealed quarterback Nick Foles would be out out for a significant amount of time due to injury. Should fantasy owners expect Sanchez to deliver once again when it comes to his Week 11 matchup against the Green Bay Packers?
The offensive system built in by head coach Chip Kelly can truly make any quarterback put up some amazing stats. The fact that Sanchez delivered a 332-yard performance without a single turnover and hit two touchdowns speaks to what Kelly has built with this up-tempo offense. Throw in the fact that Sanchez will absolutely want to make the most out of his big chance to shine once again and it makes him a very solid option to start at quarterback for your fantasy football team.
Considering what he did last week against the Carolina Panthers in his first start with the Eagles, fantasy owners should start him as their QB2 option and maybe even QB1 option if you feel risky. While the Packers will prove to be a formidable opponent this week, Sanchez could be an ultimate sleeper this week and continue lighting up the stats sheet with another strong performance.
Overall, Sanchez is a man on a mission and one better believe that he will strive towards being the best in a fresh new direction that his career desperately needed. Make no mistake about it; this is the same Sanchez who delivered the New York Jets to two straight AFC Championship games and looks like he has matured even more since then. Fantasy owners should take note and strongly consider putting Sanchez into their lineups.
