Week 15 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire: Donatas Motiejunas

There currently aren’t many players on the fantasy basketball waiver wire who can score consistently at the four-spot. Most power forwards are strictly rebounders, and thus have limited fantasy value. One player who is currently doing both, though, is F Donatas Motiejunas of the Houston Rockets.

Motiejunas is averaging a respectable 11.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per contest on the year, but the seven-footer has been even more productive this winter. He has scored double-digit points in 16 of the last 18 games, including an impressive 19.5 points over the last four games.

Motiejunas has become a strong complimentary scorer in one of the top offenses in the league, and he will continue to see plenty of open looks with James Harden and Dwight Howard demanding so much attention on offense. The forwards is a natural jump shooter who has the range to extent the floor outside of the arc, which only adds to his skyrocketing fantasy value.

Motiejunas is one of the top scorers to pick up off the waiver wire this week. He will be good for 10-plus points per game to go along with a handful of boards.
