Video: Sharks Fan Throws Dead Duck On Ice In Game Vs. Anaheim
At this point, we’re all familiar with the throwing of the octopus on the ice by fans of the Detroit Red Wings, as well as other efforts to hurl different kinds of sea animals and roadkill onto the playing surface.
On Monday night, in case you were already sleeping, the Sharks decided to add to that list when a fan decided to toss a dead duck onto the ice at HP Pavilion in the Sharks-Ducks game. Funny thing about that was that the Ducks would go on to win the game 3-2.
The most absurd part of this all is the fact that the guy sat for almost three full periods and a couple of intermissions while holding onto this dead duck before running and throwing it on the ice, and promptly being escorted out of the arena. Best part of this video has to be Jonas Hiller, who was stellar in the win, consider getting it off the ice before realizing that it was, in fact, a dead duck.
