In a recent sting by the DEA a man by the name of Warren Braithwaite was arrested in connection with a drug cartel. Mr. Braithwaite was a head usher for Mark Jackson’s church. It doesn’t sound like there is any connection between the illegal doings and Mark Jackson or his church. With all the negative publicity going on with the NBA this more of a story than it needs to be.
Between the lockout, Javaris Crittenton and a few other poor showings by NBA players this has been a bad off-season publicity wise for the NBA. They are not only going to have to win back fans but make the environment a little more family friendly. The NBA really does have a lot of PR work when they get going again.
