Coming into their game Wednesday night, the Chicago Bulls had beat the Indiana Pacers nine times in a row at home. The Bulls were also the only NBA team that was still undefeated on their home court. The Pacers were coming off of their first home loss of the season, and were looking for a victory over a Bulls team who had beat them 4-1 in last years’ playoffs.

Indiana went down early, and was down by ten points at halftime, but did not give up. The Pacers held their poise, outscoring the Bulls 31-20 in the third quarter. Indiana had six players with double figure scoring, led by Danny Granger, who scored 22 points and had seven rebounds. The Bulls were led by the reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose, who had 24 points., and Ronnie Brewer, who added a season-high 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Indiana held Chicago to 16 points in the final quarter, on their way to a 95-90 victory. The loss was the first of the season at home for the Bulls. These teams will meet again, in Chicago, on March 5th.
