Michael Dyer Dismissed From Arkansas State
Joshua S. Kelly-US PRESSWIRE

Michael Dyer had all the makings of a future star back at Auburn.  That did not work, so he ended up transferring to Arkansas State to apply his trade.  That route has come to an end, as Dyer has been dismissed from the team before he could play a game.

Michael Dyer done at Arkansas State before he even got started. Dismissed.

It is a sad thing to see as Michael Dyer has boatloads of talent but he has not found a place where he is happy.  He had issues with team rules but he was thought to make a huge impact for Arkansas State in the near future.  He could have been a very good player for them but that is not to be.

I wonder if Dyer will end up popping up at another school.  He has oodles of talent but someone is going to have to take a risk on him.  There might be a coach at a lower level school that brings him in but I would be shocked if Dyer ends up near a D-1 school.  That is just too big of a risk to take.

Hopefully Michael Dyer can find happiness in something.  His life has been rough and college football has just never worked out for him.  He has the talent to play professional but he needs someone to give him one more shot.  Dyer might not be deserving after this but he could certainly prove people wrong.

Sports are built on redemption and Dyer might be the best case for a storybook ending.
