James Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, has turned into a real powerhouse in Class 5A. The Knights lost in the 2011 5A Division I playoff quarterfinals to the eventual state champion Southlake Carroll Dragons. The year before, Arlington Martin made it to the regional final before losing to eventual state champion runner-up Euless Trinity. To celebrate two great years of Arlington Martin Knights football, the school is sending 10 players from the class of 2012 to NCAA football Teams:

Eric Amoako, DB, Oregon - A 3-star recruit this is said to have the speed to play cornerback as well as safety at the next level.

Stephen Amoako, DB, Oregon -A 3-star recruit like his brother, the other Amoako isn’t as highly-touted of a raw athlete as Eric, but he’s a leader and the Ducks like that.

Devonte Fields, DE, TCU - He recorded 73 tackles, 13 sacks and two interceptions as a senior, earning 4-star recruit status.

Steven Baggett, OL, Boise State - A top 100 player at his position and a 3-star recruit, Baggett can play any position on the offensive line.

Mustafa Haboul, DT, North Texas – He recorded 51 tackles and 8.0 sacks as a senior, earning 2-star recruit status.

Cameron Knight, RB, Austin College - He averaged 8.16 yards per carry with the Knights and that’s enough for Austin College.

Connor Trussell, OL, North Texas – This 2-star recruit is massive and as strong as an ox, which fits one of the Mean Green’s needs.

Jaden Oberkrom, K, TCU – Some say this 3-star recruit has the strongest leg in Texas, so the Horned Frogs signed him to find out.

Brodie Lambert, QB, Missouri State - A top 200 player at his position and 2-star recruit, Lambert will look to improve his raw talents a long way from home.

Preston Holman, LB, Hardin-Simmons University - A 2-star recruit, Holman recorded 29 tackles and 3.0 sacks as a senior.
