Gary A. Vasquez-US PRESSWIRE

The Memphis Grizzlies dropped a heartbreaker last night to the Los Angeles Clippers. They were able to get to overtime before they just ran out of bullets. I have to give the Clippers credit. Even though they blew a 10 point lead, Blake Griffin fouled out, they were able to will out a victory behind Chris Paul. That’s what good teams do. They win when the going gets tough.

The Grizzlies don’t have anything to be shy about. They’ve come a long way in their franchise and their a piece or two away from seriously contending. They might be down 3-1 right now, but I don’t think they’re just going to walk away and give the series away. I expect them to claw in game 5, and should make for interesting TV.

I don’t believe the Grizzlies are going to win this series, but frankly- I can see it going 6 or 7 games. Mike Conley has really grown up at the point, and Rudy Gay is still a great player in the open floor. The series is going to fall on the shoulders of Zach Randolph. He needs to play unselfish basketball, create space on the block, and kick to open shorters. If he does that, forget a double team and he should be able to own down there.

It’s really about heart right now. The Grizzlies have alot- but do they have enough? We’ll find out that’s for sure.
