How Milwaukee Bucks Defeated the Houston Rockets
Rockets Brett Davis-US PRESSWIRE
The Milwaukee Bucks (7-10) defeated the Houston Rockets (10-8) for the first time in Houston since November 2nd, 1999. The 11-game road losing streak was the second longest for the Bucks with the first being a 24-game streak against the Phoenix Suns.
Milwaukee jumped out to a 12-0 start, the worst deficit Houston has faced all year in any point of the game, but the Rockets fought their way back by the end of the first quarter to make it a ball game. The turning point seemed to be when center Andrew Bogut went down with a sprained ankle and was unable to return to the game. The Bucks began to look sluggish and couldn’t make a shot for four minutes. Both teams were down big at some point but were able to find a way to get back in it. The win was a complete effort by the Bucks which is exactly how they must approach each game if they want to record more victories.
