It’s become one of the Favr-orite questions of the offseason the past few years. Will he or won’t he return?

I’ll go on the record now and say, Yes. There are several reasons. Favre is coming off statisically the best year of his 20 year career. He finished the season with a 107.2 passer rating and a career low 7 interceptions putting to rest questions about his 22 interception season in New York during the 2008 season.

Favre has now had a complete season to gel with the corps offensive players. WR Sidney Rice had a breakout year. Favre helped Percy Harvin become Offensive Rookie of the Year. And Favre put TE Visanthe Shinacoe on the map as a top flight player.

I believe Brett has one more year left in him and I don’t think he wanted his last game to be a loss in the NFC Championship game. I Favre returns, the Vikings have to be considered one of the three teams in the NFC to advance to the Super Bowl, if he doesn’t, Minnesota might not win the NFC North because Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels isn’t the answer to take it to the next level.
