We’re hours away from one of the final UFC fight nights on Spike, which will be headlined by Jake Shields and Jake Ellenberger.  Here’s a look at the betting lines:

Odds from BetUS Sportsbook.  Accurate as of 0830 September 17, 2011

Jake Shields (-190) vs Jake Ellenberger (+155)
Pick: Shields
Shields is a world class welterweight.  Ellenberger has a tendency to go swinging for the fences and neglect takedown defence, which Shields should exploit.

Jason MacDonald (+220) vs Alan Belcher (-300)
Pick: MacDonald
The big question here is how the long layoff due to an eye injury will affect Belcher’s performance.  Belcher is better on the feet, but MacDonald has shown the ability to pull off some great submissions.

Dongyi Yang (+135) vs Court McGee (-165)
Pick: Yang
Very close fight, Yang has the power advantage between these 2 prospects.

Jonathan Brookins (+165) vs Erik Koch (-210)
Pick: Koch
A fellow TUF winner like McGee, Brookins is the latest in a line of TUF winners that aren’t all that great.  Koch is better in all aspects of the game.

Cody McKenzie (+155) vs Vagner Rocha (-190)
Pick: Rocha
McKenzie has the guillotine.  Rocha has everything else.

Shamar Bailey (+325) vs Evan Dunham (-450)
Pick: Dunham
Bailey is still quite 1-dimensional.  Dunham is better standing and has a much better ground game.

Lance Bonoist (+155) vs Matthew Riddle (-190)
Pick: Riddle
Riddle’s wrestling should allow him to control this fight.

Donny Walker (+125) vs Ken Stone (-155)
Pick: Stone
Stone is an American Top Team product who got some very tough matchups in his 1st fights on the big stage.

Clay Harvison (+130) vs Seth Baczynski (-160)
Pick: Baczynski
At this point in their careers, Baczynski has shown he’s a more complete fighter than Harvison.

TJ Waldburger (-230) vs Mike Stumpf (+180)
Pick: Waldburger
This should be a ground battle between 2 submissions fighters.  Stumpf has had a long layoff, and is coming in as a late replacement.

Mike Lullo (+115) vs Robert Peralta (-145)
Pick: Lullo
Lullo should be able to dictate where the fight takes place, and is the bigger/stronger fighter.

Justin Edwards (+325) vs Jorge Lopez (-450)
Pick: Lopez
Lopez is supposed to be a top quality prospect, and is a highly regarded striker.
