The UFC makes its ‘official’ ‘official’ debut on Fox tonight, with Rashad Evans taking on Phil Davis and Chael Sonnen facing Michael Bisping in matches with title implications.  Here’s a look at the current betting lines:

Odds from BetUS Sportsbook.  Accurate as of 0745 January 28, 2012

Rashad Evans (-190) vs Phil Davis (+155)
Pick: Evans
This fight will demonstrate whether or not Davis is ‘more than just a wrestler.’  Rashad is a great wrestler who should be able to keep this standing and take advantage of Davis’ still raw striking.

Chael Sonnen (-500) vs Michael Bisping (+350)
Pick: Sonnen
Bisping presents a strong dog pick at these odds, but Sonnen’s takedown game is just too relentless.  Bisping won’t knock Sonnen out and is going to need a sub.

Chris Weidman (-150) vs Demian Maia (+120)
Pick: Maia
Weidman has a bright future but Maia always beats other BJJ experts unless they knock him out.  Weidman hasn’t faced an opponent of Maia’s calibre, and Maia keeps getting more well-rounded.

Evan Dunham (-350) vs Nik Lentz (+250)
Pick: Dunham
Dunham is simply the better fighter.  Lentz needs the control to win and Dunham is a bad matchup for him stylewise.

Mike Russow (-165) vs Jon Olav Einemo (+135)
Pick: Russow
JOE was a highly touted heavyweight with great jujitsu.  However, he’s old and gone through a major illness.  Russow is a good fighter with an underrated wrestling/ground game, and of course, the hammerfist of doom.

Cub Swanson (-135) vs George Roop (+105)
Pick: Roop
Roop’s length makes him a tough nut to crack for anyone at 145.  He uses his range very well, and Swanson has a tendency to get into wild brawls.

Charles Oliveira (-500) vs Eric Wisely (+350)
Pick: Oliveira
Oliveira is just too good for the up and coming Wisely.

Shane Roller (-230) vs Michael Johnson (+180)
Pick: Roller
This was supposed be a TUF alums match, with Johnson facing Cody McKenzie.  Roller is a step up in competition and possesses the wrestling and cardio to win this fight.

Joey Beltran (-220) vs Lavar Johnson (+175)
Pick: Beltran
Slugfest between 2 journeymen type heavyweights.  Johnson was brought over from Strikeforce to make the heavyweight division more entertaining.  Beltran is more seasoned.

Chris Camozzi (-190) vs Dustin Jacoby (+155)
Pick: Camozzi
Camozzi has more experience and is a strong grappler with durability.
