All you students out there should be happy Skip Bayless isn’t your teacher, because he’s apparently the harshest grader in the world.

LeBron James single-handedly carried the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 95-93 overtime victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, but his performance barely earned a passing grade according to Bayless.

James didn’t have a great shooting night, but that’s unreasonable to expect each and every night when he’s doing absolutely everything for his team on the offensive end of the floor. The four-time MVP finished the game with an unbelievable statline of 39 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Make sure to hear it for yourself in the video above, but I will highlight one of Bayless’ most ridiculous comments about James’ performance.

“I’m here to tell you that occasionally LeBron’s overall numbers, which look sensational once again because they add up to a triple-double, can camouflage what really happened – because last night he continued to fail repeatedly…”

Sadly, Bayless was 100-percent serious and wasn’t making a joke. Maybe LeBron can go out and make every single shot in Game 3 to satisfy his harshest critic.
