It certainly wasn’t the way he wanted to go out, but San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili may have played his last NBA game as his squad was swept out of the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors.
Though he left many indelible memories from this year’s postseason – including an iconic block – Ginobili’s sendoff from Spurs fans via standing ovation may have been the most enduring.
And during his postgame interview, Ginobili got emotional when discussing his future.
So if this really was the last time we see Ginobili on the floor, it was one heck of a career.
With four championship rings and many accolades along the way, he deserves all the praise he receives around the league.
