Kansas Jayhawks Will Get Tested Early And Often In Non-Conference Schedule

The Kansas Jayhawks will have to replace every starter from last season’s team. Apparently that did not matter when it came to making the schedule because the Jayhawks will get tested early and often in their non-conference schedule.

Kansas will meet up against Duke, Florida, Georgetown, New Mexico, Colorado and San Diego State. It will also play in the Battle 4 Atlantis which will be no cakewalk–an all out run would be better suited.

Duke and Florida will be ranked in the top 10 all season long and New Mexico and Colorado have the talent to crack the top 10 at some point in the season. San Diego State loses its two best players, but the Aztecs have been a great team in college hoops over the last few years. The Hoyas compete basically every single year in college basketball, so I guess you could say that Kansas will not have it easy.

As you may already know, Andrew Wiggins will be joining the team. As you may also know, Wiggins is the No. 1 recruit for the 2013 class and he has been getting a boat load of hype, which is probably deserved.

Other great freshmen will be joining the Jayhawks as well, but Wiggins is clearly the one who is supposed to lead this team.

Kansas will be young and will not have much experience in the 2013-14 season. However, it will likely enter the season by being ranked in the top 10. It will have to earn that ranking, though, as it will have one of the toughest non-conference schedules in college hoops.

The Jayhawks will be part of some major matchups in the upcoming season. Hopefully Wiggins and co. are worth the hype because there are many games that this team could lose before conference play even begins.
