The return of four starters from last year’s NCAA Tournament team has expectations skyrocketing for coach Tommy Amaker and his Harvard Crimson in 2014-15. Harvard won 27 games a year ago and could eclipse that number this season if everything comes together by the end of the year. Here are five predictions for the Crimson’s statistical leaders for the new campaign.

Lean and athletic, Moundou-Missi became one of Harvard’s top frontcourt performers as a junior, starting in 31 of 32 contests during 2013-14. Moundou-Missi not only emerged as an offensive threat, he also paced the Crimson by averaging 1.3 blocks per contest last season. Expect the Cameroonian to lead Harvard in that category again in 2014-15.

4. Wesley Saunders – Steals

Considered a preseason favorite for Ivy League Player of the Year, Saunders performs at a high-level on both ends of the court. The versatile 6-foot-5 forward racked up 1.7 steals per game a year ago and could improve on those numbers in his senior season.

3. Siyani Chambers – Assists

Chambers emerged as a dynamic playmaker last season for Amaker and the Crimson. Along with averaging 11.1 points per game, the skilled guard dished out 4.6 assists in 2013-14 and could see those numbers increase dramatically with the return of two other double-figure scorers from last season.

2. Steve Moundou-Missi – Rebounds

Along with being a strong defensive presence, Moundou-Missi is also a force on the boards for Harvard. He paced the Crimson in rebounding last season, grabbing 6.0 caroms per contest in 2013-14. Moundou-Missi's aggressiveness in the paint should lead to even more boards this season.

Saunders possesses a varied offensive attack that frustrates opposing defenders. Able to play either guard or forward, Saunders averaged a team-leading 14.2 points per contest last season. Expect the California-native to expand on those numbers in 2014-15.
