Unlike yesterday, both No. 3 seeds advanced today in the round of 64. The Oklahoma Sooners will now meet up with the No. 11 seed Dayton Flyers in the round of 32.

In no way did Oklahoma blow out No. 14 seed Albany Great Danes, but it did the only thing that matters, which is win. The competition gets much tougher from here, so the Sooners will have to step up their game in the next round.

The Flyers are back at it again. Yes, this is real life. They made one heck of a run to the Elite Eight last year and they have now already won two games in the 2015 NCAA tournament (first win was a play-in game). In no way is this the most talented team, and it surely isn’t the tallest team, but it just gets it done on the biggest stage.

What to Watch For

Buddy Hield is the leader of the Sooners. He had 15 points last game. It is TaShawn Thomas who really impressed, though. Thomas finished the game with 18 points.

How about some Jordan Sibert? He scored 15 points for the Flyers against No. 6 seed Providence Friars. You could say Dyshawn Pierre had a great outing as well, as he dropped 20 points and nine rebounds.

Prediction

If Hield has one of those games, the Sooners are going to be very tough to beat next round … or in any round. By one of those games, I mean if he drops 20 or more in the scoring department, which is something he has done many times in 2014-15. Don’t let Oklahoma’s 10 losses fool you. This is a solid all-around team.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the moment during March Madness. Well, I am not going to fight it, even if my bracket is rooting for the Sooners to come out on top.

Dayton contained both LaDontae Henton and Kris Dunn in the round of 64, and the Flyers will do the unthinkable once again by upsetting Oklahoma.

Oklahoma 63, Dayton 67

LSU's Ben Simmons Throws Down Epic Reverse Slam

While it's way too early to deem LSU's Ben Simmons the next LeBron James, he's certainly making the case for his NBA potential in college this season. On Saturday, Simmons dropped this epic reverse slam dunk all over the Oklahoma Sooners and nearly led the Tigers to a win over the No. 1 ranked team in America.
