Florida State, Jameis Winston Take Care of Business Against Notre Dame

The Florida State Seminoles just passed their biggest test of the season by knocking off the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Give Notre Dame all of the credit in the world for sticking around in this game, but a loss is a loss. Everett Golson and Co. could still make it to the College Football Playoff, but they will have to win out, and need some help from other teams. They also have a couple of tests left, so in no way will it be easy.
Jameis Winston may not be able to completely keep it together off the field, but man is the kid amazing on the field. Say what you want about who the Heisman front-runner is right now, but Winston is easily one of the best players in the country, and he continues to lead his team to victory.
If he can keep leading his team to victory, he could end up winning his second Heisman in a row, and the Seminoles could end up winning the championship in back-to-back seasons.
Florida State still has some challenges left, but it has a pretty manageable schedule the rest of the way to say the least.
Teams in the SEC may be getting all the attention this year, but the SEC being so dominant may hurt the conference in the end. I imagine it will still get one team into the playoff, but if SEC teams continue to beat up on one another, there is no way two teams will make it from this conference.
Hate them or love them, the Seminoles are in prime position to make college football’s first playoff this year.
