Since losing to West Virginia, the Baylor Bears have taken care of business, including a whooping put on the No. 15 Oklahoma Sooners on the road. This team may just be heating up at the right time and the Oklahoma State Cowboys stand in the way of their ninth win. Can the Cowboys upset the Bears in surprising fashion on the road? We will see.

Baylor has one of the most electric offenses in the nation behind the strong arm of senior quarterback Bryce Petty. The veteran gunslinger isn’t putting up record-breaking numbers, by any means, but his 2,421 yards, 21 touchdowns and three interceptions have been more than enough to keep the Bears in the playoff hunt. Sophomore wide out Corey Coleman has been the senior’s favorite target, catching 44 passes for 796 yards and eight touchdowns while freshman stud KD Cannon has burst onto the scene with 38 catches for 731 yards and six scores. Don’t look now, but Antwan Goodley is also heating up, grabbing 38 passes for 572 yards and four TDs. The run game ranks 24th behind Shock Linwood‘s 864 yards with 12 scores and Johnny Jefferson‘s 407 yards and three touchdowns.

During Oklahoma State’s four-game losing streak junior quarterback, and replacement of J.W. Walsh, Daxx Garman has seen his number decrease drastically. In fact, in this poor stretch, Garman has passed for over 160 yards just once while failing to complete more than 60 percent of his passes in any of those games and throwing two touchdown passes and seven interceptions. On the year, Garman has been somewhat average, passing for 2,041 yards, 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while completing 55 percent of his passes. His favorite target has been junior David Glidden who leads the team with 34 catches for 450 yards and a score while fellow junior Brandon Shepard is close behind with 25 catches for 436 yards and two touchdowns. Desmond Roland leads the run game with just 533 yards and seven scores while Tyreek Hill has been quite dangerous, rushing for 444 yards and a score.

Defensively, the Cowboys have struggled during their four-game losing streak, allowing 28 points or more in each of those games. On the year, Oklahoma State is just 1-5 when allowing at least 28 points. The Cowboys rank 91st in points allowed and 88th in total yards allowed per game. Baylor has been much better, ranking 19th in points allowed and 13th in total yards allowed per game. This game might be a total mismatch.

Oklahoma State will travel to Baylor to take on the Bears at 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, Nov. 22. The game will be broadcasted on FOX.

PREDICTION: Oklahoma State 17, Baylor 37
