After years of dominant play out of their backfield, running back was a position of weakness in 2014 for Stanford. The Cardinal already have secured a verbal commitment from three-star Oregon running back Cameron Scarlett. Love is a higher-rated player and would be a big get for David Shaw and the Cardinal.

Stanford has a bunch of big bodies along their defensive front graduating this summer, making defensive line a big priority in the 2015 recruiting class. Saint-Amour is a four-star defensive end from North Gwinnett High School in Georgia. ESPN is reporting the 6-foot-3, 240-pounder took an official visit to Palo Alto on Jan. 16.

David Parry was a senior in 2014 and should find a home in the NFL somewhere after another successful season at defensive tackle. Donelly is a 300-pound defensive lineman from Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas. He has reportedly taken his only official visit to Stanford, indicating the Cardinal could be in shape if the big man is admitted to the school.

Jackson is listed as an offensive tackle by ESPN and as a defensive end by Rivals, so Stanford has some versatility with the Tennessee product should they be lucky enough to secure a commitment. The other two schools reportedly in Jackson’s final three schools are Georgia and LSU.
