The UCLA Bruins enter spring practice coming off of a strong 2014 season, but one that left a lot to be desired. They return plenty of starters but will have to replace arguably their best player on offense and defense. Here are five questions for the team.

The Bruins lose quarterback Brett Hundley to the draft, and will need someone to step up and fill his shoes. Hundley was one of the top quarterbacks in the country, and his production and leadership will be missed. Jerry Neuheisel, Asiantii Woulard and Josh Rosen figure to battle it out in spring.

Paul Perkins led the conference in rushing yards, and will be one of the better running backs in the nation next season. He has good quickness and vision, and the Bruins will need to lean on him even more to carry the offense.

Myles Jack has had two outstanding seasons for the Bruins. He is an incredibly gifted linebacker capable of making plays all over the field, yet still has the energy to make bruising runs on the offensive side of the ball. Next season might be the year he makes the jump into one of the top overall players in the country.

2. Will The Offensive Line Finally Be A Strength?

The Bruins have had their fair share of trouble when it comes to the offensive line. Hundley was constantly being pressured last season, but he was able to use his athletic ability to create the most out of it. The line has some talented players, but they need to do a better job of keeping their quarterback upright.

The defense had plenty of playmakers last season, including Butkus Award winner Eric Kendricks, but they were far too inconsistent. With the amount of young talent on the roster, the team should continue to get better next season. The question is whether or not they can make the jump into the elite.
