The Georgia Bulldogs held their spring game on Saturday in Athens, but head coach Mark Richt and his team did not have a lot to show their fans.

Coming into the spring, the biggest question surrounding the program was who would be the starting quarterback this fall. That question apparently remains unanswered at this point, as none of the three options separated themselves from the others throughout the spring or on Saturday.

Brice Ramsey is the quarterback with the most experience for Georgia, and he made a couple of big plays in Saturday’s contest. However, Ramsey was just five-of-nine through the air for 174 yards and a touchdown.

Junior Faton Bauta played pretty well Saturday, connecting on 16-of-25 passes for 171 yards and a score. However, Bauta did much of his damage against the second team defense.

Redshirt freshman Jacob Park also played behind center on Saturday, hitting on 10-of-15 through the air for 92 yards with an interception. Park is apparently third in the running for the starting job at this point.

One of the nice surprises of the day for Georgia was sophomore running back A.J. Turman. With Keith Marshall and Sony Michel out, and Nick Chubb limited, Turman got the majority of the carries in the game, and he made the most of his opportunity. Turman rushed 26 times for 106 yards with two touchdowns in the game.

Georgia’s running game should be in fine shape with all four of those running backs expected to be healthy this fall. However, Richt and new offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer must determine which quarterback will get the start when the season begins.
