Sean “Diddy” Combs made sports headlines on Monday after he was arresting for allegedly attacking UCLA strength coach Sal Alosi. There are conflicting reports, but a representative from the hip hop mogul’s company said on Tuesday that Combs did not attack Alosi and was acting entirely in self defense.

“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” Nathalie Moar, a rep for Combs Enterprises, said in a statement. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”

Most accounts of the story signal that Diddy was actually the aggressor and was NOT acting in self defense.

According to TMZ, the drama began early on Monday when Alosi kicked Justin Combs, Diddy’s son, out of a conditioning session due to a “lack of effort.” Alosi allegedly yelled, “I don’t care if your dad’s here. This is UCLA. I’m going to treat you just like I treat everyone else.”

Diddy was furious and stormed down to Alosi’s office with his son by his side. Alosi said he would speak to Justin, but instructed him to have his father get out of his office. Of course, this infuriated Diddy even further and he approached Alosi.

According to a TMZ source, Alosi then put his hands up in a non-threatening way, but Diddy “walked into” his hand and then warned him to not touch him. Diddy then lost his mind and attacked Alosi before interns rushed in to break it up.

The hip hop mogul was pulled into a connecting gym, where he picked up a kettlebell and swung. As he was once again restrained, Diddy allegedly screamed that he was “going to f**k him up,” which resulted in university police alleging one cout of making a terrorist threat. Alosi reportedly suffered cuts on his face and a torn shirt.

TMZ was told the charges will most likely be dropped, but that Diddy won’t be allowed on the field anymore.
