The New Jersey Nets were looking to not suffer the same fate as they did against the Indiana Pacers earlier in January. However, it would be the same fate as the Pacers defeated the Nets 106-99 in a heart breaking defeat.

Good
In the tough loss, there were only a few bright spots. One of them coming from guard Anthony Morrow. Morrow dropped a season-high 28 points in the game on 10 of 17 shooting from the field. Deron Williams was able to lead the Nets with 34 points. Kris Humphris recorded a double-double scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Nets also shot well shooting 47 percent from the field.

Bad
With the loss the Nets now move to 7-15 on the season. This loss is coming after an embarrassing loss to Toronto Sunday. The defense was atrocious in this game as well. Paul George and Danny Granger were able to post 20+ points as Roy Hibbert recorded 14 assists. Indiana also shot 52 percent from the field which made the defense seem like it was non-existent in the game.

What’s Next?
The New Jersey Nets will host the Detroit Pistons Wednesday while the Pacers head to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves Wednesday as well.
