New York Giants Director of College Scouting Marc Ross on Chicago Bears GM List
According to several sources, the Chicago Bears have eyed New York Giants Director of College Scouting Marc Ross as one of their potential replacement GMs.
The Bears fired Jerry Angelo last week.
The Bears are also reportedly interviewing Chiefs director of college scouting Phil Emery, Patriots director of pro personnel Jason Licht and Chargers director of player personnel Jimmy Raye.
According to ESPNChicago.com, Raye and Ross “are high on [the Bears'] short list.”
Ross has helped Giants GM Jerry Reese become one of the most well respected general managers, and especially drafters, in the NFL.
Reese has had very successful drafts, finding a high number of the Giants current starters especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Ross also interviewed for the Colts GM spot, which was filled by Eagles personnel director Ryan Grigson.
