With Jeremy Lin missing the past 3 games with what was apparently a sore knee, the New York Knicks have just announced that Jeremy Lin will miss 6 weeks with a torn meniscus. He is expected to be out until May What does this mean for the suddenly hot New York Knicks who have won 8 of the last 10?

Well, this could have a huge impact on the Knicks in the playoffs. Providing they make the playoffs, the New York Knicks and coach Mike Woodson will now have to rely on a combination of Baron Davis, Mike Bibby and Toney Douglas to supply them the needs of a point guard. This will make a huge difference come playoff time rather than the regular season however. Toney Douglas wasn’t doing too good in the start of the season, so if he gets the call, lets hope that he can provide the missing piece with Jeremy Lin out.
