Cowboys Rookie WR Dez Bryant So Close to Return

He may not have been cleared to practice, but Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant was dressed and ready to go at Monday’s practice in Oxnard, California. Bryant knew he would not be allowed on the practice field, but he was getting antsy. “I know I’ll be practicing sooner or later,” the Cowboys first-round pick said. The first-round draft pick has been ruled out of Saturday’s game at Houston, but hopes to make his professional debut in Dallas’ final exhibition against Miami. That is a possibility since the twenty-fourth overall pick is rehabbing like a possessed man, but the Cowboys’ training staff is focused on getting him ready for the regular season opener at Washington.
