Wes Welker scores touchdown on opening drive for Patriots

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker scored his first touchdown of the season on the opening drive against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He caught a nine-yard screen pass from Tom Brady before finding his way into the end zone to give the Patriots a 7-0 lead. Many wondered what type of impact Welker would have during his first game back after tearing his MCL and ACL during the regular season finale last season against the Houston Texans. He returned to the field well ahead of schedule and is already looking like his old self—which is great news for New England....
