Panthers name Matt Moore starting quarterback for Week 7 against 49ers

Carolina Panthers quarterback Matt Moore has won the starting job back, according to Ray Giler of FanHouse.com. He was replaced by rookie Jimmy Clausen in Week 3 after struggling during the first two games of the season and will start against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. After leading the Panthers to an impressive 4-1 record down the stretch to end the 2009 season, there were high expectations for Moore as the full-time starter at quarterback. Unfortunately, that has not been the case in Carolina considering the Panthers are just one of two teams who remain winless heading into Week 7.
