Dez Bryant Practices, Expected to Play on Monday Night

Dallas rookie receiver Dez Bryant practiced for the first time on Friday, providing some optimism for his availability against the Giants on Monday night. After suffering a high ankle sprain in training camp, Bryant has not been able to get back to 100% health. Although he missed the entire preseason, the 24th overall pick has not missed a regular season game in his first year. Despite being slowed by the ankle at Minnesota on Sunday, Bryant hauled in an impressive 31-yard touchdown catch. Due to his high level of production thus far in 2010 and his resilience to fight through injury, I’m confident the Oklahoma State product will take the field against a 2nd-ranked Giants pass defense.
