The last time Terrell Owens stepped foot on the football field during the NFL regular season was the 2010 season when he was a member of the Cincinnati Bengals and while he’s done everything in his power to receive another opportunity in the big leagues–there just hasn’t been any teams interested in bringing the controversial wide receiver on board. However, it appears Owens may pull off the unthinkable and receive another shot to make it in the NFL–at least according to his agent.

That’s right, Owens’ agent Jordan Woy claims there’s “a bunch of teams” expressing interest in the wide receiver–which could make the upcoming preseason an interesting one. Owens received an opportunity to play with the Seattle Seahawks last preseason, but he was released a few weeks before the start of the regular season and couldn’t manage to find a new team at all in 2012.

As far as the teams showing interest in Owens–that remains a mystery.

Despite showing one of the best work ethics throughout his career, teams have been cautious to bring Owens on board as he’s proven to be a distraction in the locker room–which is why it’s been difficult for him to land on a team over the last couple of years. Still, with the amount of teams in need of help at the wide receiver position, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see Owens drawing interest from numerous teams–whether they’re afraid of him being a distraction or not.

Get your popcorn ready–it looks like the one they refer to as Owens could be making a return to the NFL soon.
