Jarvis Landry Will Be X-Factor For Miami Dolphins In Week 10

Jarvis Landry

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

When you think of Miami Dolphins‘ receivers, chances are Jarvis Landry isn’t the first name that comes to mind. The rookie out of LSU was a very underrated selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, getting picks up in the second round by the Dolphins. That said, for as little fanfare as Landry has received since he entered the league, this is a guy that looks like a star in the making. Jarvis Landry is the Dolphins’ X-factor going into Week 10, and his play could be the difference between a win and a loss for the Dolphins in their matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Landry, who has been on fire over the last few weeks, is a big reason why the Dolphins’ offense has been playing so well recently. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is quickly developing a very nice rapport with Landry, and that connection has allowed both players to succeed the past few games. With 30 receptions and 301 yards this season, Landry has flashed brilliant potential, and going against a young Lions secondary, he should thrive once again.

It’s not hard to see why Landry has become such a good player so quickly. With excellent speed and hands, Landry has arguably been the Dolphins’ most reliable receiver this season — and with very good route-running skills, Landry often puts himself in positions to make plays. He’s not the biggest guy, but Landry makes up for it with exceptional technique and jumping ability. The Dolphins have played Landry to his strengths so far, and there’s no reason that should change in Week 10.

If you’re looking for a player on the cusp of stardom in Week 10, look no further than Jarvis Landry. This young receiver has the talent to be a game-changer, and he should be a huge part of the Dolphins’ offense this week, making him the clear X-factor.
