The Broncos are traveling to the Jungle to take on the Bengals in a game that has plenty of playoff implications. The Broncos need to win in order to keep up with the Patriots for the top of the AFC, while the Bengals need a win if they want to stay atop the AFC North. Here are five bold predictions for the AFC showdown.

Rookie Jeremy Hill has been pretty fantastic for the Bengals and is coming off his second best performance, where he rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns. But Hill is facing the second best run defense in the NFL on Monday night and it’ll quickly become a lot more difficult for him to move the ball.

Two of the best wideouts in the league will put together two pretty amazing games on Monday night. Andy Dalton will be just heaving the ball as far as he can hoping Green does something amazing (which he often does), and Manning will be throwing cheeky screens to Thomas, who’ll do the rest.

3. C.J. Anderson Has Another 3 Touchdown Showing

The running back musical chairs seems to have ended in Denver and when “I Will Always Love You” stopped playing, it seemed C.J. Anderson was the only back with a chair. He has already had a three touchdown game against the Bills two weeks ago and he’ll do it again against a struggling Bengals defense.

2. Andy Dalton Won’t Lose The Bengals The Game

For the first time in maybe his career, Dalton will not be the reason the Bengals lose a big, important game. Shocker, I know. Dalton will actually put together a really solid game against the Broncos and give the Bengals a chance to win, only to see Peyton Manning do his best Tom Brady impression and lead a fourth quarter comeback.

Manning has not been having the same season he had last year (though that’s not surprising since that season is practically untouchable) and he’ll have another not-so-great day on Monday night. Much like the Bills game in Week 15, Manning will throw two picks and no touchdowns, but ultimately it’ll be OK since Anderson is willing to put the team on his back.
