Tennessee Titans' 5 Potential Playoff Opponents In 2015

It will be a difficult task for the Tennessee Titans to sneak their way into the playoffs in 2015, especially with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans in their division. If that is their expectation, they have a lot of work to do after ending the 2014 season tied for the worst record in the NFL. Hypothetically, if they have a miraculous come-back year, here are some teams they could be facing in the 2015 postseason.

I expect the Baltimore Ravens to come out strong in 2015, and come out on top of the tough AFC North division. They will be a tough team to beat if the Titans face them in the playoffs. It would be a rather interesting matchup, as these teams used to be rivals back in the day.

I believe that at least two, possibly three, teams out of the AFC North will be playoff bound again in 2015. While I predict the Ravens to win the division, the Pittsburgh Steelers are a solid favorite for a Wild Card spot.

3. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos will be going through some changes and adjustments with their coaching staff in preparation for next season, but with Peyton Manning returning for another year, they will most likely be a playoff team again. There is a definite possibility, if the Titans make the playoffs, that these two teams could meet in the Wild Card round.

I can confidently predict that the Indianapolis Colts will win the AFC South for the third straight year, meaning the Titans would, at best, be a Wild Card team. The Colts are a contender for the Super Bowl, and will come into the season with a lot of motivation after being knocked out by the New England Patriots this year, especially with the controversial "deflate-gate" scandal.

While I don't believe the current Super Bowl champions will repeat in 2015, I still expect them to be a good team and win the AFC East again. They are in arguably the weakest division in the league, and will have no problems getting to the playoffs for the seventh straight season.
