Top 5 Players On Indianapolis Colts’ 2015 NFL Free Agency Wish List

Free agency finally starts today which means a whirlwind of signing will soon be upon us. Before free agency chaos consumes the entire NFL, here’s a look at five players who stand atop the Colts’ free agency wish list. They may not be the most realistic targets, but if the Colts had their wish, these would be the five players they’d land.

The Colts just signed Frank Gore, so it might seem silly to have another running back on this list. But Spiller is an extremely good pass catcher out of the backfield and the Colts love to do that. I know this because Ahmad Bradshaw got me tons of fantasy points catching touchdowns out of the backfield.

If you asked me who the Colts’ safeties are, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. And I take that as a sign that you need an upgrade. Moore is possibly now the best safety available with Devin McCourty signed up in New England, and the Colts would be wise to jump on him.

3. Greg Hardy

Any team that needs pass-rushing help would love to sign Hardy. If it wasn’t for his domestic violence charges, he’d probably be one of the top free agents in the class. The Colts could use a pass rusher like Hardy; the question is, is he worth a huge contract?

2. Andre Johnson

The Colts could give Andre Johnson the opportunity to exact revenge against his old team twice next season. With the team not re-signing Reggie Wayne, the Colts now have a hole at wide receiver to fill and Johnson would fit in perfectly. He gives Luck a big target to throw to, and pairing him with T.Y. Hilton makes for a scary offense.

We all know that the Colts want to fix their inability to stop the run. Terrance Knighton is the best run-stuffing, space-consuming defensive player still on the market. He’ll command a large contract (to go with his large frame), but this man has to sit atop the Colts’ wish list. He would be a huge boast to a horrible run defense.
