The NFL schedules have been released, and we now know where and when the Texans will play each of their 2015 regular season games. Here is a quick game-by-game breakdown of the schedule with predictions for each game.

The Chiefs improved their offense significantly by signing Jeremy Maclin and releasing Dwayne Bowe. The Chiefs just missed out on the playoffs, but they are one of the most balanced teams in the entire league.

Prediction: Kansas City nips Houston in a close one 21-20.

Week 2, Sun. Sept. 20: @ Carolina, 1:00 p.m. CBS

The two-time defending NFC South champion Panthers host the Texans in their home debut. The Carolina defense will be too much for an unproven Texans offense, and Cam Newton will make just enough plays against the Texans' defense.

Prediction: Carolina wins 23-16.

Week 3, Sun. Sept. 27: vs. Tampa Bay, 1:00 p.m. Fox

Lovie Smith and the Buccaneers come into this season with more questions than answers, and not even potential No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston will save the Bucs against J.J. Watt and the Texans.

Prediction: Houston wins easily 27-10.

The Falcons will be much improved under Dan Quinn, but their defense and their offensive line are still major concerns.

Prediction: Houston wins a close one 20-17.

The Texans nearly defeated the Colts in Houston last year, but Andrew Luck will have the Colts offense firing on all cylinders in Houston.

Prediction: Colts win 27-17.

The Jaguars improved their passing game and their defensive line this offseason, but their offensive line won't have any answers for J.J. Watt, even at home.

Prediction: Texans win 24-13.

Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins' new-look passing game will have their moments against the Texans, but Houston's defense makes a big play late to snatch a road victory in South Beach.

Prediction: The Texans win a close one 27-23.

Week 8, Sun. Nov. 1: vs. Tennessee, 1:00 p.m. CBS

Tennessee improved their weak defense from a year ago after acquiring Brian Orakpo and Perrish Cox, but the offense won't be good enough to consistently move the ball against the Texans.

Prediction: Houston wins 20-10. The Texans then have their bye in Week 9.

Coming off their bye, the Texans will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals on Monday Night Football. Since Andy Dalton arrived in the league, the Bengals have been dominant at home. The Texans won't have enough offense to get past the Bengals on the road.

Prediction: Cincinnati wins 27-14.

Week 11, Sun. Nov. 22: vs. New York Jets, 1:00 p.m. CBS

In a short week, the Texans will travel back to Houston to take on the New York Jets. Todd Bowles will have the defense firing on all cylinders, but their offense still hasn't improved with Geno Smith under center.

Prediction: Houston wins an ugly one 17-16.

Week 12, Sun. Nov. 29: vs. New Orleans, 1:00 p.m. Fox

Without Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills, the Saints' offense won't be as sharp, but their defense should at least be somewhat better than last year. Still, the Saints' road woes catch up to them.

Prediction: Texans edge the Saints 24-21.

Rex Ryan will bring a renewed energy for the Bills, but their offense wasn't upgraded at all this offseason.

Prediction: Houston wins a close one on the road 17-14.

Emotions will be high as Vince Wilfork faces his former in the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots. Even with Wilfork on their side, the tandem of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady will be too much for the Texans.

Prediction: New England wins 31-17.

Week 15, Sun. Dec. 20: @ Indianapolis, 1:00 p.m. CBS

The Texans have never won in Indianapolis, and 2015 won't be any different. Andrew Luck and the Colts will be too much for the Texans to handle on the road.

Prediction: The Colts wins 35-17.

After back-to-back losses to Indy and New England, the Texans will get back on track vs. the lowly Titans.

Prediction: Houston wins another easy one 24-10.

Just like last season, the Texans will close out their 2015 season with a home win in their season finale against the Jaguars.

Prediction: Houston wins this one 21-13.
