New York Jets corner Antonio Cromartie, and his wife Terricka, announced recently that they’re expecting twins. Typically, this would be wonderful news to announce, but considering Cromartie had a past vasectomy, it’s a little shocking. This will be Cromartie’s 11th and 12th children as he has eight from previous relationships and now four with his wife.
Terricka learned she was pregnant in October when she visited the emergency room with bad cramps. In an interview with Us Magazine, she talks about how stunned she was:
“I really thought I was dreaming, even after, I was just in total disbelief,” she said.
“I didn’t even tell Antonio right away because I didn’t think it was possible,” she adds. “I was going back and forth in my head how it could even happen. In my head we were good to go, we were having free sex! I just really thought that his procedure was the best protection you could have at this point.”
The 31-year-old Cromartie just completed his 10th season in the NFL and racked up 29 tackles and 12 passes defensed for the Jets.
