2016 NFL Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Pre-Combine Seven-Round Mock

The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of holes to fill to jump back into championship contention, and it all starts on the offensive line. They may also consider a quarterback early, but that’s completely dependent on whether they assign the franchise tag to Sam Bradford.

The Eagles desperately need offensive line help, and if the team slaps the franchise tag on QB Sam Bradford, this is definitely the direction they should go. Ronnie Stanley would be the best option, but he'll likely be off the board at No. 13.

It's entirely possible we could see Spartans go to Philadelphia in back-to-back rounds and Calhoun could be the guy for the Eagles. He's a violent, relentless pass-rusher, and if he can get a little stronger, he could be a great pickup for Philly.

3. Joshua Garnett, OG, Stanford

The Eagles need help in the interior as well, and who better in the mid-rounds than the 2015 Outland Trophy Winner. Garnett helped pave the way for a Heisman Trophy finalist and has the size and physicality to succeed at the next level.

4. Cardale Jones, QB, Ohio State

Even if the Eagles keep Sam Bradford around for another season, I would still expect them to take a shot at a mid-round quarterback. Jones helped the Buckeyes to a national championship and, despite recent struggles, presents a lot of upside.

Philadelphia's young receivers have been underwhealming in their first couple of seasons. While it's possible they'll target a big name in free agency, they may also try to grab some instant offense through the draft.

6. Victor Ochi, OLB, Stony Brook

The Eagles need depth at outside linebacker, and if they don't take anyone earlier in the draft, they might decide to take a flyer on a talented but very unknown player. Ochi's 23.5 career sacks make him the Seawolves' all-time leader.

7. Kyle Friend, OG, Temple

Friend's toughness and grit may be enough to help him sneak onto the draft board. With the Eagles' need at offensive guard, they might be the team to take a shot on the four-year starter from Temple.
