Dennis Allen will indeed be the next head coach of the Oakland Raiders.  The defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos will become a first time head coach out in Oakland.

It seemed that Winston Moss and Dom Capers were the initial favorites, but Allen came on late.  The Broncos defense was impressive for most of the season, even when the offense was struggling.  If it wasn’t for them, Tim Tebow may have never got a chance to lead all those comeback victories.

We will have more on this story as it develops.
