Michael Vick is extremely frustrated.  With frustration, comes honest, real talk.  Before Vick’s incarceration, Vick usually spoke his mind.  That was a main reason the Atlanta media loved him.  The national media always tried to play Vick down, pointing out his many early career weaknesses.

Now, Michael Vick has served his time, done community service work, signed his second $100 million contract and became the sure fire leader of one of the most media covered organization in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles.  Vick was a good boy at first, towing the company line.  Now, he speaking from the heart.

Vick is one of those athletes like loves the spotlight, but, more importantly, loves winning.  The expectation that were set for the Eagles were simple:  Super Bowl or bust.  The Eagles are off to a 1-3 record and the sky is falling.

The quotes Michael has been sited in the last ten days are spot on.  When things go wrong, someone has to take accountability.  Vick is smart enough to know this.  The problem is that, similar to the New England Patriots, the Eagles want everything kept in house.  The Eagles like to control the information stream.

If the Eagles struggles continue, I see a bad ending to a once happy story.  Michael Vick is going to be Michael Vick now.  He is no longer going to put up with Andy Reid’s ways.  It could come to a head if the losing continues.  For one, I take the side of Vick.

What quotes? How do you write a story and assume the reader knows what comments you are talking about? How about some more information?

Dream Team is Dead…..complaining about hits….really? I was not going to rehash stories done over and over. It’s a an overview

  2. Chris Mitchell says:

Totally agree, Vick is out there putting his all on the line including his health and Reid is sitting on the sideline like a fat kid who’s eaten too much cake. The dream experiment didn’t work, fix it noe before its too late.

    • Frank Benditt III says:

Thanks….Reid has wore out his welcome…..He’s like that annoying Uncle, who help’s you out fixing somethings now and then, who just won’t leave your house.
